I had a delightful New Year’s greeting from a lady called
Maxine Amos who hails from Australia.
Maxine had looked at the Inspirational Women weblog and she got in touch
with me via e-mail.
“We are a small Family History Association in Townsville,
North Queensland, Australia, and I am the editor of our magazine which is
published 3 times a year, approx 350 A5 copies. Copies are also sent to the
State and National archives and to other Family History Associations around
Australia and overseas.”
Being in touch with people all over the world who are
interested in the history of the First World War is one of the most rewarding
aspects of my commemorative exhibition project.
